Every badge on a product page is a specific check we have done. A product shows a badge only when that check is true for it.
Verified publisher
We have confirmed who is behind the product. To be verified, a publisher must:
- Have a working phone number, which we confirm by call or WhatsApp.
- Send an ID (for individuals) or a business registration certificate (for companies). Our team checks it and never shows it publicly.
- If they have a website, prove they own its domain by placing a short code we give them on the site.
- Be on an active paid publishing plan. The badge is removed if the plan ends.
The badge's colour shows the publisher's plan:
- Verified · Starter (bronze): a verified publisher on the Starter plan.
- Verified · Growth (silver): a verified publisher on the Growth plan.
- Verified · Professional (gold): a verified publisher on the Professional plan.
Every colour means the same identity checks were done; the colour tells you how much the publisher invests in the marketplace.
We remove the badge from any publisher who breaks the Publisher Guidelines.

A person on our team checked the listing before it went live: the description matches the product, the links work, and the product follows our guidelines. Every product on the marketplace has been reviewed.
Scanned for malware
For Android apps, the file you download was checked automatically before review: it must be a properly signed APK whose details match the listing, and it was scanned by antivirus engines with a clean result. Every update is checked again.

Badges are not a guarantee that a product is free of bugs or security problems, and they are not an endorsement. Read the description and reviews, and only install software you trust.

Publishers on a paid plan can request verification from their publishing workspace.
