Publishing plans are priced in US dollars (USD) and Malawi kwacha (MWK): Free ($0 / MK0), Creator ($5 / MK5,000), Publisher ($15 / MK15,000) and Partner ($30 / MK30,000). Each currency has its own price, shown before you pay. Each payment covers one calendar month.
Currency
You choose MWK or USD before checkout, and you are charged exactly the price and currency shown. Prices are not converted between currencies. Your subscription stays in the currency you paid in; paying a renewal or plan change in the other currency moves your billing to that currency only after the payment is confirmed. Past payments and invoices keep their original currency. Not every payment method accepts both currencies; the methods available are listed before you pay.
Activation and renewal
A paid plan activates only after PayChangu confirms the payment. Renewal is manual: nothing is charged automatically. We remind you 7 days and 3 days before your plan ends, and on the day it ends. Paying early adds a month to the end of your current period.
Upgrades and downgrades
An upgrade starts as soon as its payment is confirmed. The unused part of your current month is converted into extra days on the new plan, at the new plan's price. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for.
Expiry and grace period
If a paid plan is not renewed, a 7-day grace period starts. During it your account, products, files and sales history are kept, and one listing (which you may choose) stays public under the Free allowance. When the grace period ends you continue on the Free plan: one listing stays public with no time limit, and your other products are kept but hidden until you renew.
Free plan
The Free plan includes one product listing that does not expire. It stays public for as long as it meets the Publisher Guidelines.
Marketing included in paid plans
Plan marketing is delivered every paid month for your approved, live products: launch posts within 7 days of approval, guaranteed posts and homepage weeks as your plan lists them, and the monthly newsletter. We write the posts to Imminent X editorial standards and may decline content that breaks the Publisher Guidelines. If we miss a promised post or homepage week in a month, we add it to the next month, or on request extend your plan by the same share of the month.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your workspace. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for; nothing further is charged.
Marketplace commission
For products sold through Imminent X checkout, Imminent X keeps 10% of the amount the customer paid; the remaining 90% is recorded as your earnings. Payment-processing fees are borne by Imminent X from its commission. Earnings become available 7 days after the sale and are paid out manually to your verified mobile money or bank account when you request it. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from your earnings. Plan subscriptions carry no commission.
